Gentherm Exhibits Thermal Comfort Technologies At China International Furniture Fair

Demonstrations of Mattresses, Office Chairs, Beverage Storage

NORTHVILLE, Mich., March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Gentherm (NASDAQ-GS: THRM), the global market leader and a developer of innovative thermal management technologies, today announced that it is exhibiting its latest thermal comfort technologies at the 31st China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Guangzhou, PRC.  In partnership with CIFM and Interzum, the CIFF is the largest trade fair in Asia for furniture, including beds, mattresses and office furniture.  The CIFF runs March 27-30.

Gentherm, located in Booth C/25 in Hall 15.1, is demonstrating the latest thermal comfort technologies in mattresses, office chairs and beverage storage.  New this year is Gentherm's 2.0 generation Climate Control Sleep System™ (CCSS™) which warms and cools each side of the mattress independently for individual sleeping comfort.  With an updated system design, the CCSS technology allows for programmable cycling throughout the night to set the temperature of the mattress to best suit the occupant.

Also being previewed is an office chair incorporating Gentherm's Climate Control Seat™ (CCS™) technology.  This chair, which was launched in October 2012, provides the same level of heating and cooling comfort for the office that is found in more than 50 vehicles built by leading automotive manufacturers around the world that offer CCS systems for the automotive market.  Another innovation for the office is a heat and vent office chair which provides thermal conditioning in less demanding environments at lower costs.

Lastly, Gentherm is exhibiting a new thermal storage bin for beverages.  The bin based on the Company's advanced thermoelectric technology used in CCS provides the ability to maintain beverage temperature.

Gentherm will also participate in the upcoming Interzum Show in Cologne, Germany May 13-16 in Hall 10.2 Booth B-031.
