BOSTON, April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Annual Shareholder Meeting held on April 26, 2013 for holders of Auction Preferred Shares (APS) of Eaton Vance Municipal Income Trust (NYSE:EVN), Eaton Vance California Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: CEV), Eaton Vance Massachusetts Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: MMV), Eaton Vance Michigan Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: EMI), Eaton Vance New Jersey Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: EVJ), Eaton Vance New York Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: EVY), Eaton Vance Ohio Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: EVO) and Eaton Vance Pennsylvania Municipal Income Trust (NYSE MKT: EVP) (the "Funds"), each a closed-end investment company, has been adjourned until May 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. and will be held at the principal office of the Funds, Two International Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02110.  The Annual Meeting for APS holders of the Funds which was to be held for the purpose of electing Ralph F. Verni as Class II APS Trustee of each Fund, elected solely by respective holders of APS of each Fund, was adjourned to provide the Funds with additional time to solicit proxies from APS holders to establish the requisite quorum for the conduct of business at the Annual Meeting.
