Shares of Sanofi SA ended higher on Friday; however, the gains were limited. The stock closed 0.13% higher at $53.36 on volume of 2.04 million after touching an intra-day high of $53.90. Sanofi’s shares are currently trading close to their 52-week high of $54.98. Year-to-date, the stock has gained more than 12.60% as compared to a gain of 11.10% for the S&P 500. Shares of VIVUS Inc. rallied on Friday, extending their gains from previous trading sessions.
