Allied Nevada Announces Director Election Results of its 2013 Meeting of Shareholders

Allied Nevada Gold Corp. ("Allied Nevada" or the "Company") (TSX:ANV)(NYSE Amex:ANV)(NYSE MKT:ANV) is pleased to announce the director election results of its 2013 annual meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held in Toronto on May 2, 2013. At the Meeting, all nominees listed in the Company's Proxy Statement dated March 15, 2013, standing for election were elected as directors of the Company.(1)
