Huron Consulting Group's Andrew Ziskind Named One of Consulting Magazine's Top 25 Consultants for 2013

Ziskind, M.D., managing director and Clinical solutions leader in its Huron Healthcare practice, has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Consultants for 2013 by Consulting magazine.

Dr. Ziskind leads Huron Healthcare’s Clinical solutions group, which drives sustainable improvements in care quality, patient satisfaction, and financial performance. He has helped hospitals, healthcare systems, and academic medical centers across the country enhance operational efficiency and reduce care variation, which has resulted in dramatic improvements in cost, quality and satisfaction for Huron’s clients.

Prior to joining Huron Healthcare in 2012, Dr. Ziskind was a senior executive in Accenture’s Health & Public Service operating group, where he provided leadership for the Accountable Care Organization and Academic Health System practices. His clinical leadership experience includes serving as vice dean for clinical affairs and associate vice president at the University of Washington, and president of Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Ziskind graduated at the top of his class from the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine and cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
