News America Marketing Partners With Children's Miracle Network Hospitals To Support Upcoming 'EPIC' Campaign

NEW YORK, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- News America Marketing, the premier publisher of coupons in the U.S. and Canada, producing over 165 billion coupons annually1, today announced they will be joining long-standing partner Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) in their "May is for Miracles" campaign to raise funds for vital research, treatment, and education to save and improve the lives of local children.

This spring, News America is taking their decades long partnership a step farther, working with CMN Hospitals, Twentieth Century Fox and notable retailers to bring awareness to CMN Hospitals' 2013 fundraising campaign. The tagline of the campaign, "Make an 'EPIC' Difference for Kids", ties in with the Twentieth Century Fox 3D animated adventure film "Epic", only in theatres on May 24th, and encourages shoppers to donate to their local CMN Hospital by purchasing a Miracle Balloon and making a donation at participating retailers. CMN Hospitals donations can be made this month at Walmart and Sam's Club, Costco Wholesale, Chico's FAS, Publix Super Markets, Carmike Cinemas and Speedway. They can also be found at Rite Aid stores until May 11th.

News America Marketing's SmartSource magazine supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals can be found in participating newspapers on May 19th.

News America Marketing has published two CMN Hospitals-themed issues of their iconic SmartSource coupon insert every year for more than twenty years, helping to generate vital funds and media value for the organization.

"Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is an organization that we truly believe in," said Marty Garofalo, EVP, Trade, News America Marketing. "We are thrilled to be able to support their crucial work through this 'EPIC' campaign. We encourage shoppers to go to their local participating retailer and make a donation for the youngest heroes among us."

"News America Marketing has been a consistent and valuable advocate for CMN Hospitals, helping us to build relationships with retailers across the country and gain exposure for the charitable need of our member hospitals through their themed issues," said John Lauck, president and CEO, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. "We are happy to call them a partner."
