Demand Management Inc., a leading global resource for supply chain
management solutions, has announced the availability of the Demand
Solutions platform as a software as a service (SaaS) offering. This
cloud-based release includes all the same functionality as the
on-premise Demand Solutions platform, but is hosted remotely and
available on a subscription basis.
Demand Management’s announcement comes at a time when more and more
software providers are allowing customers to access their solutions in
the cloud. By offering its integrated supply chain planning suite on a
subscription basis, Demand Management enables companies to get up and
running on the platform as quickly and affordably as possible.
“Companies of all sizes are expressing a desire to get away from
building complex IT infrastructures and hiring large IT teams to
maintain them,” says Bill Harrison, president of Demand
Management. “Making Demand Solutions available as a SaaS offering
removes a barrier to entry for companies that need a powerful supply
chain planning solution but don’t want to devote the resources to
implementing it in-house. They can now simply pay a set fee per user per
month, and they’ll automatically benefit from each future upgrade to the
product.”
To deliver the utmost reliability to customers, Demand Management is
hosting its cloud version on the Windows Azure cloud platform.
“We now offer our customers three different configurations of Demand
Solutions to meet their supply chain planning needs and fit their
technology infrastructure,” Harrison concludes. “As always, we offer the
customized training our clients need to get the most out of our
solutions. Anyone interested in going live quickly with a robust supply
chain planning solution should contact us to subscribe.”
