given away more than $1.75 million to charities in more than 1,000
communities across the U.S. as part of the “DaVita Way of Giving.”
DaVita teammates in dialysis centers across the nation chose local
charities to support as part of the DaVita Way of Giving, the company’s
locally focused charitable giving initiative that helps 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organizations grow and thrive. Charities included food banks,
thrift stores, crisis centers, children’s organizations, foundations,
ministries, soup kitchens and many more.

“We want to make significant positive impacts in the communities where

As a part of the DaVita Way of Giving, DaVita contributed $132,000 to
Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Along with millions of others living on
the East Coast, many DaVita teammates suffered the devastating impacts
of Hurricane Sandy. These contributions will help relief organizations
supporting recovery and rebuilding efforts in New York, New Jersey and
Connecticut.
