Magor Achieves Customer Wins in the Enterprise Market with Three New Contracts Totaling Over $140,000
OTTAWA, ON, May 13, 2013 /CNW/ - Magor Corporation (TSX-V: MCC), a global leader in visual collaboration solutions, today
announced that it has won contracts collectively valued at over
$140,000 with three new Canadian customers for installation of its
Room-based and All-in-One units across various locations in Canada. In
addition, Magor expects maintenance and licensing fees, which equate to
approximately 18% of the contract value to be paid annually.
"More and more enterprises are realizing the benefits of Magor's
disruptive peer-to-peer high-definition video and collaboration
architecture over their current traditional video conferencing
meet-on-the bridge platforms," said Mike Pascoe, President and CEO of
Magor Corporation. "Magor's collaboration technology eliminates the
need for costly hardware-based Multipoint Control Units (MCU's), also
known as bridges, used by traditional solutions. Our customers, thus,
benefit from collaborating in a more natural and flexible environment
rather than working in a single workflow model enforced by traditional
video conferencing solutions. As the result of this disruption we are
creating in the market, we are seeing success within new corporate
sectors, and we expect this momentum to continue."
