TD celebrates Vancouver's amazing music and arts scene with its sponsorship of the Khatsahlano! Music + Art Festival

VANCOUVER, May 15, 2013 /CNW/ - TD will top off the summer music festival season with its sponsorship of the Khatsahlano! Music + Art Festival, which is considered to be Vancouver's biggest free outdoor music event. This festival is one of a number of major music festivals across the country sponsored by TD.

"We've been supporting music festivals across the province for years and this newest sponsorship fits perfectly within our program by allowing us to connect with Vancouverites through great musical acts," said Jane Russell, Senior Vice President - Pacific Region, TD Bank Group. "With our newly opened branch at Cypress and 4^th, TD will be able to join in the festivities this year."

This year's festival, which takes place on July 13, will feature 12 stages showcasing more than 50 of Vancouver's top musical performers, including indie acts and street performers. During the festival, local merchants along Kitsilano's trendy West 4^th Avenue will turn the neighbourhood into a 10-block street fair with food stations, patios and curated art exhibitions for nearly 80,000 people.
