NCM Fathom Events and DCI Showcases Marching Music’s Major League’s™ Top Competitive Drum Corps Performances in Select U.S. Movie Theaters on June 24

The country’s best-of-the-best marching music ensembles will kick off Drum Corps International’s (DCI) summer season with “Drum Corps at the Cinema: 2013 DCI Tour Premiere in select U.S. cinemas nationwide on Monday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. local time. This exclusive in-theater event will feature the performances of six of the world’s top drum and bugle corps ensembles pre-recorded live during their season-opening competition on Saturday, June 22 in Akron, Ohio. The competitive spirit will be in full force as six rivals – Bluecoats (Canton, Ohio); Boston Crusaders (Boston, Mass.); The Cadets (Allentown, Pa.), The Cavaliers (Rosemont, Ill.); Phantom Regiment (Rockford, Ill.); Spirit of Atlanta (Atlanta, Ga.) – compete for top honors in one of the very first of more than 100 competitions on DCI’s 53-day summer tour.

Tickets for “Drum Corps at the Cinema: 2013 DCI Tour Premiere” are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. Presented by NCM Fathom Events and DCI, this event will be broadcast to more than 440 select movie theaters across the country through NCM’s exclusive Digital Broadcast Network.
