Cintas Executive Recognized for Supplier Diversity Efforts

Pamela Brailsford, senior director of supplier diversity and sustainability at Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS), was recently named “Individual Champion” at the South Central Ohio Healthcare Supplier Diversity Symposium. She was selected for her ongoing commitment to driving results, developing suppliers, enhancing outreach efforts and instilling supplier diversity practices and principles within Cintas and the greater Cincinnati business community.

“Only through the hard work of committed business leaders like Pamela Brailsford are we able to realize our supplier diversity goals,” said Howard Elliott, president of the Elliott Group and event co-producer. “All stakeholders benefit from a diverse supplier network—suppliers benefit from additional opportunities and purchasers benefit from improved competition. We commend Pamela for her efforts.”

Since 2010, the South Central Ohio Healthcare Supplier Diversity Symposium has generated more than $65 million in contracts for diverse suppliers throughout southeastern Ohio and northern Kentucky. It brings together CEOs, senior executives and supply chain management professionals from a variety of healthcare providers and suppliers to foster business opportunities with women and minority-owned businesses. The Individual Champion is someone who has demonstrated exemplary efforts to increasing awareness and driving results for supplier diversity programs throughout their organization and the local business community.

“Pamela regularly demonstrates her commitment to diversifying our supply chain by continually educating Cintas leaders on how they can become change agents,” said Dave Wheeler, senior vice president of global supply chain, Cintas Corporation. “A strong advocate of economic inclusion, she has helped increased our supplier diversity spend and actively works to develop a best-in-class program.”

In addition to her work at Cintas, Brailsford serves on the board of directors for the South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (SCOMSDC). In 2012, she was identified as an “Ambassador of Supplier Diversity” by Minority Business News USA.
