StockCall.com Provides Stock Research on Pan American Silver Corp., Silvercorp Metals Inc., Silver Standard Resources Inc., and Great Panther Silver Ltd

New York City, New York -- (June 04, 2013)

Silver prices rallied on Monday, June 3, 2013, as the U.S. dollar weakened. However, silver prices have struggled in 2013 as commodities have come under pressure. A slowdown in China has hurt industrial demand for silver. Meanwhile, a stronger U.S. dollar is also having an impact on the white metal. A sharp pullback in silver prices has meant that silver mining companies in the U.S. have seen an uphill battle so far this year. Yesterday, however, shares in silver mining companies ended mostly higher, tracking gains in the broader market which moved higher even as market participants digested some disappointing economic data. The major movers in the sector included Pan American Silver Corp. (USA) (NASDAQ: PAAS), Silvercorp Metals Inc. (USA) (NYSE: SVM), Silver Standard Resources Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ: SSRI), and Great Panther Silver Ltd. (USA) (AMEX: GPL).
