PC® mobile expands its offering with consumer-friendly monthly plans that deliver value and protection
TORONTO, June 19, 2013 /CNW/ - PC® mobile today announced its entry into the post-paid wireless market with simple and better voice and data monthly packages designed as an alternative to the national carriers. The new consumer-friendly PC® mobile monthly plans offer unique protection against "billing shock", along with a wide range of included features, no activation fees or cancellation charges, and some of the shortest contract terms currently available in the Canadian market.
PC® mobile plans are available with the latest technology, including top brands and smart devices from Samsung and BlackBerry, at prices suitable for every member of the Canadian family. With this feature, customers receive notifications when anyone on their plan approaches, reaches or exceeds their monthly allotment of voice or data, and with a quick call or click can opt to limit or add more time to their plan.
With two simple contract term options of 18 or 30 months, all three PC® mobile monthly plans offer nationwide minutes, data, unlimited international text, picture and video messaging. All monthly plans come with full voice mail, call display, call waiting and call forwarding—all included. PC® mobile also offers free evenings and weekends, and unlimited Canada-wide family calling on the same account.
To celebrate its launch, PC® mobile is offering time-limited introductory rate plans for customers who sign up early for 18 or 30 month activations, including:
- Combo 35:$35 monthly fee; includes 400 Canada-wide Anytime Minutes and 200 MB data (in Canada);
- Combo 50:$50 monthly fee; includes 1000 Canada-wide Anytime Minutes and 1 GB data (in Canada); optional ; and
- Combo 65:$65 monthly fee; includes unlimited Canada-wide Anytime Minutes and 2 GB data (in Canada).
In addition, customers will receive a $100 President's Choice® gift card with 18 or 30 month new contract activations on any phone in the PC® mobile lineup as part of the time-limited launch promotion. Customers can also earn double PC® points, redeemable toward free groceries and merchandise, if they pre-authorize their monthly mobile payments using a PC Financial® MasterCard®.
