CHICAGO, June 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Envestnet | Tamarac, part of Envestnet, Inc. (NYSE: ENV), a leading provider of integrated web-based portfolio and client management software for independent advisors and wealth managers, announced today that Advisor Rebalancing® will be the first third-party rebalancing application to be included on the Schwab Intelligent Integration™ platform for registered investment advisors. The integration will empower advisors to make more informed portfolio rebalancing and trading decisions based on real-time custodial data, without logging into multiple applications. Advisor Rebalancing will also be integrating with Schwab's new web trading platform to provide advisors with streamlined processing of account-level trades as well as block trades and allocations.

The addition of Advisor Rebalancing will make the complete Tamarac Advisor® Xi suite an integrated option for advisors that custody with Schwab. The other two Advisor Xi applications, Advisor View™ for portfolio management and Advisor CRM® for client management, are currently available as part of Schwab OpenView Gateway. Advisors who use Tamarac Advisor Xi and Schwab Intelligent Integration will benefit from access to custodial data and streamlined processing from all elements of the Advisor Xi suite.
"Tamarac's integrated RIA platform is uniquely positioned to enable advisors to run a more profitable practice," said Stuart DePina, Group President, Envestnet | Tamarac. "Advisor Xi integrates enterprise-level portfolio and client management applications with real-time custodial data and trade processing into a single web-based and custodian-agnostic solution. The level of integration we deliver means dramatically streamlined RIA business processes, which translates to greater scale, accuracy, and revenue for advisors."
In fact, Tamarac's recently published white paper, RIA Productivity and Profitability: Integration Pays, found that advisory practices that use integrated software are approximately 20% more profitable than those that do not.
"Many advisors have yet to realize all of the benefits a comprehensive portfolio rebalancing application can provide as a complement to a portfolio management system," said Neesha Hathi, Senior Vice President of Schwab's Advisor Technology Solutions. "What's more, utilizing a rebalancing solution that is integrated with an advisor's critical systems, and has access to real-time Schwab custody data and streamlined trading capabilities, will enable advisors to make business processes more efficient across their organization and focus on growing their business."
