Bell Aliant Pioneers of New Brunswick Chapter 51 Scholarship Foundation awards six scholarships to local students
FREDERICTON, June 26, 2013 /CNW/ - Six New Brunswick students have been
awarded $2,000 scholarships from the Bell Aliant Pioneers of New
Brunswick Chapter 51 Scholarship Foundation.
The Scholarship Foundation awards annual scholarships to New Brunswick
students who are pursuing post-secondary education. Each applicant is
assessed on several criteria, including academic achievements,
community and school participation, plans for continued education,
demonstrated perseverance and the need for financial assistance.

The Bell Aliant Pioneers of New Brunswick Chapter 51 Scholarship
Foundation Inc. was formed in 1992 with the goal of helping students in
the province with physical or mental challenges pursue their education.
Since 1992, the Foundation has awarded more than $210,000 in
scholarships to over 100 students in New Brunswick. The scholarships
are funded through tax-deductible donations, memorials, bequests and a
variety of fundraising activities.
