U.S. Bank Celebrating 150th Anniversary with Summer Giveaways

What are you celebrating in 2013? This summer, your milestone or big accomplishment could win you $15,000.

To celebrate its 150th anniversary this year, U.S. Bank is giving away prizes all summer to people who share on the bank’s Facebook page what it is that they are celebrating in 2013. Each week, a winner will be randomly drawn for a $150 VISA® Rewards Card. Then, on August 14 , U.S. Bank will hold a random drawing for the grand prize of $15,000.

“For 150 years, U.S. Bank has helped personal and business customers achieve their financial goals,” said Kent Stone, vice chairman of consumer banking for U.S. Bank. “We’re excited to celebrate our own milestone by highlighting those celebrating something of their own.”

U.S. Bank’s national charter was signed during Abraham Lincoln’s presidency 150 years ago on July 13, 1863 in Cincinnati, while the Civil War raged across the Ohio River. To enter the sweepstakes, participants must go to Facebook.com/usbank between June 24 and August 14, click on the link for the Celebrate with US sweepstakes, and follow the instructions to upload a photo and write a caption about what they are celebrating in 2013. The caption must be 75 words or less.
