LAVAL, QC, July 8, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Following the train disaster this
past Saturday in the town of Lac-Mégantic, Hart Stores Inc. (TSXV: HIS)
is announcing that it will send a relief contribution of $15,000 in
coordination with the Red Cross in order to be distributed amongst the
families that have lost their homes. The Company will also support the
local community with much needed merchandise to fill their needs at
this time.
"The Hart store in the town was not physically impacted by the disaster
and remains open during this tragedy." said Jean-Marc Grondin Store
Manager for Lac-Mégantic. "However, the store employees, including
myself have all been affected in some way as we have loved ones that
have been lost or acquaintances who have lost their homes. Hart Stores
will support the community as needed."
