MONTREAL and TORONTO, July 16, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Luc Sabbatini, President, Bell Media Sales, today announced the new organizational structure of Bell Media's multi-platform sales force.

"Today we bring together our sales teams, combining our strengths and unparalleled knowledge of the Canadian media market," said Sabbatini. "Today we come as one team dedicated to our clients' success and results. This will be achieved in large part by uncovering the right opportunities to leverage our unique collection of brands and products. Our primary goal is to deliver the best client experience in the industry."

New Organizational Structure

Sabbatini confirmed Perry MacDonald as Vice-President, Conventional Sales, where he will continue to be responsible for the national conventional sales teams in Montréal, Toronto, and Vancouver, as well as the Toronto Local Sales team.

Additionally, Sabbatini announced the appointment of Lesley Conway as Senior Vice-President, Bell Media Sales, English Canada. The former Astral exec will be responsible for all aspects of sales in English Canada. Her direct reports are:

  • Darryl Coburn, Vice-President, Specialty TV Sales and Brand Partnerships
    Coburn will oversee the sales strategy for all of Bell Media's English non-sports specialty channels, in addition to Bell Media Brand Partnerships.
  • Dean Rutherford, Vice-President and General Manager, Bell Media Radio Sales
    The former Astral executive is responsible for national sales, overseeing Bell Media Radio Sales offices in five major markets. Rutherford's team also acts as a representation firm for independent, non-owned radio stations, and is responsible for radio Brand Partnerships.
  • Jordana Fatsis, Vice-President, Out-of-Home Sales
    Fatsis oversees all Astral OOH sales in Toronto and Vancouver, including the Retail, National, and Vancouver sales teams, as well as the street furniture portfolio.
  • Nancy McConnell, Vice-President, Digital Sales
    Leading all of Bell Media's English Canada digital sales and national operations teams, McConnell is responsible for the complete Bell Media Digital portfolio, including web, mobile, and app properties.
  • Debbie Drutz, Vice-President, Bell Media Mix
    Drutz leads multi-platform sales with custom creative integrations and client solutions.
  • John Voiles, Vice-President, Sales, Western Canada
    Voiles oversees the entire sales operation in Vancouver (Specialty, Radio, OOH, Digital, Mix).

Conway will also work very closely with Joe Carter, Vice-President, TSN Sales.

Sabbatini also confirmed a Senior Vice-President, Bell Media Sales, Québec would be appointed in the near future, responsible for all aspects of sales in Québec. Reporting to this leader in Montréal are:

  • Peter Germain, Vice-President, Specialty TV Sales
    Germain oversees the sales strategy for all of Bell Media's French non-sports specialty channels across Canada, in addition to English specialty channels out of Montréal.
  • France Godard, Vice-President, Radio Sales
    Godard is responsible for national radio sales in Montréal, as well as Media Creativity for Bell Media's Québec radio properties.
  • André Allard, Vice-President, Out-of-Home Sales
    Allard oversees all Astral OOH sales in Montréal, including the Retail and National sales teams and the digital and transportation portfolio.
  • Guillaume Bédard, Senior Director, Digital Sales
    Bédard is responsible for digital sales out of Montréal for all Bell Media digital properties.
  • Michelle LaBarre, Vice-President, Bell Media Mix
    LaBarre will continue to lead multi-platform sales with custom creative integrations and solutions.

The new Québec SVP will work closely with Patrick Jutras, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, RDS.

Sabbatini confirmed a new focus on sales marketing for the new multi-platform sales unit. Leading this initiative are:

  • Nathalie Cook, Vice-President, Marketing and Innovation, English Canada
  • Nathalie Doré, Vice-President, Marketing and Innovation, Québec

Cook and Doré will lead a brand strategy for Bell Media Sales utilizing tools such as relationship marketing, social media, branding initiatives, and business-to-business opportunities to connect directly with clients on a regular basis.
