Stephen Goldsmith Joins Huron Consulting Group to Broaden Public Sector Services and Expand Operational Efficiency Offerings to University Clients

Goldsmith, an expert in public sector innovation and public-private
partnerships, has joined the Company as a managing director to establish
new offerings focused on operational excellence in the public and higher
education sectors.

Goldsmith
is the Daniel Paul Professor of Government and the Director of the
Innovations in American Government Program at Harvard University’s
Kennedy School of Government. He served as deputy mayor for operations
of New York City from 2010 to 2011, and previously served two terms as
the mayor of Indianapolis, where he earned a reputation as one of the
country's leaders in public-private partnerships, competition and
privatization. Goldsmith was also the chief domestic policy advisor to
the George W. Bush campaign in 2000.
