announced that SiriusXM radio duo Opie & Anthony will bring their daily
morning show to Canada with a special two-day live broadcast from the
Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montréal, Québec.
Just For Laughs is the world's largest comedy festival and welcomes more
than two million people to Montréal each summer. As part of SiriusXM
Canada's festival sponsorship, Opie & Anthony together with co-host
comedian Jim Norton will broadcast live from festival headquarters at
the Hyatt July 25 and 26 from 7:00 - 11:00 a.m. ET. With a reputation
for pushing the boundaries of broadcast radio, this will be the duo's
first live broadcast from Canada to their North American audience. Opie
& Anthony are widely recognized as a launching pad for talented comics
including Louis C.K., Bill Burr and Bob Kelly. Each day, they will be
joined by comics headlining the festival as well as other special
guests from around the world of comedy.
In addition, Opie & Anthony will host a special "Midnight Surprise"
performance at Theatre Sainte-Catherine on Friday, July 26 beginning at
11:59 p.m. ET, featuring a special lineup of comedians personally
curated by them that will be revealed on that morning's live radio
show.
The Opie & Anthony Show can be heard live each weekday starting at 6:00
a.m. ET and is replayed again at 3:00 p.m. ET and 8:00 p.m. ET on
SiriusXM's Opie & Anthony Channel, available to XM subscribers on channel 103 and for Sirius Premier
subscribers on channel 206.

Lutz as well as live performances from Godfrey, Debra DiGiovanni, Todd
Glass, Brian Posehn, Robert Kelly and many others.
SiriusXM's Canadian comedy channel Canada Laughs (channel 168) together with Raw Dog Comedy (channel 99), which will
become the limited-run "Just For Laughs Radio" channel, will broadcast live from festival headquarters at the Hyatt Regency July 23
to 26. Each day, SiriusXM hosts will feature exclusive interviews and
impromptu performances with the scores of comics attending the
festival.
