ACM

AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for public and private clients in more than 140 countries around the world, announced today that its Tishman Construction operation is serving as construction manager of critical infrastructure and interiors for Sentinel Data Centers and Russo Development’s new joint venture in Orangetown, N.Y.

This greenfield data center is part of a new build-to-suit mission critical project with a large financial institution end-user. Comprising 131,000 square feet, the single-story facility will provide over 7 megawatts of critical power capacity when the low-voltage fit-out is complete. Additionally, the project is pursuing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

“We are pleased to continue our long-term, successful relationship with Sentinel as well as work with Russo Development on this innovative mission critical project,” said John M. Dionisio, AECOM chairman and chief executive officer. “Our highly-skilled project team is dedicated to providing a first-class facility.”

Construction of the Orangetown data center is currently underway with completion expected mid-year 2014.
