VANCOUVER, Aug. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - Kombat Copper Inc. (the "Company")
(TSX.V: KBT) announced today the implementation of a plan to streamline
the Company's corporate governance structures to better serve its
current needs and resources.
As an initial step, the Board unanimously resolved to reduce its size
from seven directors to five and Messrs. Amish Patel and Michael Slater
resigned from the Board upon the resolution becoming effective on
August 1, 2013.
"We wish to thank Amish and Michael for their valuable insight and
contributions at the Board level", said Alexander Helmel, the Company's
Chief Executive Officer.
Both Messrs. Patel and Slater will continue in their roles as officers
of the Company: Mr. Patel remains the Company's Chief Financial Officer
and Mr. Slater remains the Company's Corporate Secretary.
