Resources Global Professionals Announces the RCOI Center of Excellence

RGP

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Resources Global Professionals ("RGP") today announced the formation of the Reasonable Country of Origin Inquiry (RCOI) Center of Excellence (COE) as an expansion of the Company's Conflict Minerals service offering. The RCOI COE provides a centralized service model to support clients' RCOI and SEC filing process.

The RCOI process requires companies to survey suppliers on the source of conflict minerals in their products and evaluate the results. A recent RGP Conflict Minerals survey found that 66% of respondents believe their primary challenge is conducting the RCOI and getting timely and quality responses from suppliers.

"We are excited about our enhanced RCOI capability and the value it provides to our clients," said Kevin Deely, senior practice director for RGP's Supply Chain Management practice. "We bring an integrated and scalable solution that leverages our leading Conflict Minerals methodology and our robust technology platform – policyIQ. The COE provides clients with a turn-key solution to generate RCOI efficiencies and deliver consistent, timely and quality results. By combining leading-class advisory services with continuous RCOI support, I believe we are well positioned to serve clients with this most pressing need."

As part of the RCOI COE and to address this particular challenge, RGP has created a Conflict Minerals Excellence Series. The first whitepaper, "Project Success through Effective Steering Committee Engagement," can be downloaded at http://rgp.com/cm/whitepaper. Additionally, RGP will be hosting a free webcast on September 26, 2013 at 9am PDT/12pm EDT to review key lessons and best practices for preparing for the RCOI process and managing supplier responses. The second whitepaper, which illustrates the real-world challenges and solutions to these problems, will be provided following the webcast. Register for the webcast at http://rgp.webex.com/eventcenter.
