MetroList Services, Inc. and i-Tech MLS First to Leverage Move, Inc.'s FIND(SM) Application to Share Listing Detail Record from Source MLS

MOVE

Landmark agreement enables MLS subscribers to access listing details at the source MLS through the FIND Application

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroList Services, Inc. (MetroList®) and i-Tech MLS – a joint venture of the Glendale Association of Realtors and the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors – today announced an industry-first agreement providing reciprocal deep linking to multiple listing service (MLS) content via the FINDSM application, a service of Move, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE).

FIND is proprietary software for MLSs that provides property centric data on more than 100 million real estate parcels in the United States, and offers agents and brokers access to timely, accurate and reliable listing information across MLS boundaries. The MLSs participating in the reciprocal deep linking agreement  provide their agents and brokers with an additional layer of listing detail, including contact information and showing details about a listed property at the source MLS.

"This innovative agreement is a model for MLSs seeking collaborative solutions that meet the business and technical needs of their customers, which are now inseparable," said Steve Berkowitz, CEO of Move. "The agreement and integration is a landmark step towards maximizing the tremendous potential of the FIND application by allowing licensed agents to work together across MLSs to access complete listing information in real time to serve their clients."

"Reciprocal deep linking is the most cost-effective way to provide real estate agents with access to confidential information on for sale properties, because it's free," said Tom Beede, president and CEO of MetroList Services, Inc.  "MetroList along with other participating MLS and its technology partners continues to lead the way in developing innovative data sharing initiatives while maintaining a high level of data integrity."

One of the most notable features of the reciprocal deep linking agreement is the offer of cooperation and compensation.

"As we look to the future, PFAR is constantly seeking new ways to serve its members better. Working with our i-Tech partner, the Glendale Association of Realtors; MetroList; Rapattoni; and Move, with this new, synergistic opportunity through the FIND application program, this is yet another way to help our members operate their businesses more effectively and efficiently," said Terry Murphy, CEO of the Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS®.

Daniel Lanning, executive vice president of the Glendale Association of REALTORS® adds, "Commitment to providing the most comprehensive access to real estate listing data in California is a strategic goal of the Glendale Association.  Entering into agreements like this reciprocal deep linking is another step in providing the access to accurate and timely listing data for our Realtor® members."

Any MLS in California may participate by contracting with Move for the FIND application, becoming a party to the reciprocal deep linking agreement, and implementing the technology on their MLS system.

Move is making its FIND application available to members of multiple listing services nationwide. "The ultimate goal of our FIND application is to help MLSs better serve their members with the most comprehensive national data available, and also to provide realtor.com® users with a complete view of market activity, including sold data, in real time," said Bob Greenspan, vice president of industry relations of realtor.com®.

Andy Rapattoni, president and CEO of Rapattoni Corporation commented, "This brilliant concept is made possible by advancing technology and is facilitated by Move.  Rapattoni is happy to implement this feature in its MLS software at no charge to our customers."  Reciprocal deep linking makes it possible to access MLS content anywhere without membership mapping, without data mapping, and without cost to Rapattoni and FIND application customers.
