Herbalife presented the Inspira Award to Diego Luna at the Awards Ceremony at the Kennedy Center, Washington D.C., on Sept. 5, 2013

Last night, Herbalife was a key sponsor of the 2013 Hispanic Heritage Awards. The prestigious Awards, which celebrate Hispanic cultural pride, contributions, and accomplishments, took place on Thursday, Sept. 5, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and will be broadcasted on MundoFox on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 7:00 p.m.

“We are proud to partner with Herbalife in carrying on the rich tradition of the Hispanic Heritage Awards,” commented Antonio Tijerino, President and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. “Herbalife is an exceptional match with the mission of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation as we celebrate the significant contributions made by Hispanic leaders throughout the country. We are especially thrilled to have Herbalife host the Inspira Award, which recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit and vision of Hispanic leaders that have impacted history in America and the world. Not only does Herbalife support the Hispanic community, Herbalife also inspires the entrepreneurial spirit of thousands of individual members of the Hispanic population across America.”

Herbalife was the presenting sponsor of the Inspira Award, which this year went to Diego Luna. Luna, an accomplished actor, director and producer, is a role model that seeks to inspire the Latino community to recognize their shared history and strive to improve their lives and those around them.

“Herbalife is proud to be the sponsor of the Inspira Award at the 26th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards, and honored to be a part of this celebration of Latino leaders who have made positive impacts in various fields,” said Ibi Fleming, senior vice president and managing director, North America at Herbalife. “Through the promotion of healthy, nutritional products and strong community-based networks that support healthy lifestyles, Herbalife is proud of its commitment to the Latino community. At Herbalife, each member serves as an inspiration to their family, friends and community,” Fleming added.
