Jazz Crew Schedulers Ratify Labour Agreement

DARTMOUTH, NS, Sept. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Jazz Aviation LP ("Jazz") announced today that their Crew Scheduling employees, represented by Unifor have ratified a tentative agreement which was reached on September 6, 2013. The agreement will be in place for a four-year period.

Unifor represents approximately 40 Crew Schedulers employed at Jazz.

"Congratulations and thank you to all who have been involved in this process. With the conclusion of this agreement there are no outstanding collective agreements to be negotiated until the third quarter of 2015, when the next period of collective bargaining will resume," said Jolene Mahody, Chief Operating Officer of Jazz. The long-term agreements in place with our labour groups provide stability as we continue to strengthen our business and enhance our competitive position in the marketplace."
