CardioComm Solutionsâ?? HeartCheck(TM) ECG PEN Featured in October Edition of Zoomer Magazine.

V.EKG

(via Thenewswire.ca)

The Zoomer Publication targets population of 15.1 million baby boomers in the Canadian market

TORONTO, ONTARIO - CardioComm Solutions, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EKG) ("CardioComm Solutions" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the HeartCheckTM PEN ECG device and SMART Monitoring service were the subject of a special article in the October 2013 issue of Zoomer Magazine, published by ZoomerMedia Limited.

Zoomer Magazine is published nine times a year, and with 512,000 averaged readers, it is the largest paid circulation magazine in Canada for the mature market, with 87% percent of readers belonging to the 45 years-plus age category.

"The independent coverage we received from ZoomerMedia is a significant achievement for CardioComm Solutions. ZoomerMedia targets a demographic active in maintaining their health and their quality of life. As we age, arrhythmia risks increase as does the risk for developing further complicating pro-arrhythmic medical conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. The Zoomer Magazine article about the HeartCheckTM PEN and SMART Monitoring Service provides an introduction of our medical monitoring technologies directly to the Zoomer market" said Etienne Grima, Chief Executive Officer of CardioComm Solutions.

"CardioComm Solutions has been developing marketing strategies that target the "40 plus year old" consumer market, a segment of the population with some resistance to adopting self-health monitoring practices, putting off looking into symptoms they experienced, such as short episodes of irregular heartbeats or dizziness. "This affirmation of interest in the HeartCheckTM PEN and the media exposure that will be afforded through ZoomerMedia will help to get the message out to this segment of the population, urging Canadians that taking control of your Heart Health is important, a message that should resonate very clearly with Zoomer's target audience", added Simi Grosman, a member of CardioComm Solutions Board of Directors.

CardioComm Solutions will be launching a multi-level fall campaign to promote the HeartCheckTM PEN and its SMART Monitoring ECG service. This will be done, through targeted media releases, research collaborations targeting atrial fibrillation detection and stroke reduction initiatives, as well as through the new Partner Program initiative.

More information regarding the HeartCheckTM products and SMART monitoring solutions is available at the Company's web site www.theheartcheck.com.
