Indigo Exploration Inc. Provides Update on Kodyel Gold Permit, Burkina Faso

V.IXI

Marketwire

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 19, 2013) - Indigo Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IXI)(FRANKFURT:INE) announces additional positive rock sampling results over the eastern half of the Kodyel soil grid on its flagship Kodyel property. The soil grid covers a 15 kilometre stretch of favourable geology and artisanal workings between the Tangounga pit (undrilled at this time) and the Kodyel 1 Zone drilled by Semafo in 1997. The east end of the grid ended 2.5 kilometres short of the Tangounga pit, but will be extended over the pit this fall. The soil results previously reported from the grid demonstrated multiple gold soil anomalies. The most significant soil anomaly measured 5.5 kilometres long by 600 metres wide with values generally greater than 50 ppb Au, corresponding to an interpreted regional right lateral fault.

Previously, the western half of the soil grid was prospected, rock sampled and reported on in May 2013. The eastern half of the grid has now been prospected and sampled. Of 362 rock samples recently taken from quartz float, 85 samples returned values greater than 0.5 g/t Au. Twenty-six samples ranged from 4.96 g/t Au to a high of 65.7 g/t Au. All of the new rock samples elevated in gold lie within the 5.5 kilometre long by 600 metres wide soil anomaly. A map will be posted on the Company website.

The gold soil anomalies with supporting rock samples to date constitute strong drill targets and confirm the sizeable potential of the Company's flagship project. Once the rainy season is over, crews can resume surface exploration at Kodyel.

In addition, the Company has expanded its holding in the Kodyel area. Two new permits adjacent to the Kodyel permit have been granted - the 105.5 square-kilometre Kiri Kiri Est permit added onto the northwest border of Kodyel and the 41 square-kilometre Patingou permit added onto the southern border of Kodyel.
