Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) today announced that Leigh R. Fox will
succeed Kurt A. Freyberger as the company’s chief financial officer,
effective October 1, 2013.
Mr. Fox joined Cincinnati Bell in July 2001 and has held multiple
finance and accounting roles including network and operations, six sigma
process improvement, and product development. As vice president of
finance at the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Cincinnati Bell
Technology Solutions, he played a strategic role in the growth and
development of the company’s former data center business. Mr. Fox most
recently served as the company’s senior vice president of finance before
being announced as the company’s chief administrative officer earlier
this year.
“Leigh brings not only a strong financial background but also broad
strategic and operational experience to this role,” said Ted Torbeck,
Cincinnati Bell President and CEO. “His collaborative approach helps
bring a variety of perspectives to the table and drives positive
outcomes for our shareholders, customers and employees.”
Mr. Fox succeeds Kurt A. Freyberger, who is resigning from the company
effective September 30, 2013, to pursue new opportunities. In
conjunction with his resignation, Mr. Freyberger has entered into a
six-month consulting agreement with the company to provide assistance
and expertise on various financial matters relating to the company’s
business.
