Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - September 24, 2013) - Columbus Energy Limited (TSXV: CEL) ("The Company") announced in a news release dated April 15, 2013 that it had entered into an option agreement to acquire 60% of the Barbara-Chorzow Coal mine in Upper Silesia, Poland from Przedsiebiors Uslugt Gorniczych Greenway ("Greenway").
This is a fundamental acquisition and the shares of the Company are halted until such time as the TSX-Venture Exchange has accepted for filing various documents including a 43-101 report on the project.
Dr. Larry Thomas, B.Sc., PhD, C. Eng. FIMMM, C. Geol., FGS of Dargo Associates of the United Kingdom has provided a NI 43-101 report on the project.
The 43-101 report was submitted to the TSX Venture exchange on August 07, 2013 for a review prior to filing. The exchange replied on August 23, 2013 with a number of deficiencies and comments. The Company is re-drafting the report to address the concerns raised in the exchange review and will formally submit the transaction for review when the re-drafting is complete.
