the Russell 2000®, Russell 3000® and
Russell Global® Indexes as part of Russell
Investments’ third quarter IPO additions that took place after the
market closed on September 30, 2013.
The Russell 2000® Index measures the performance of the small-cap
segment of the U.S. equity universe. The Russell 2000®
is a subset of the Russell 3000® Index representing
approximately 10% of the total market capitalization of that index. It
includes approximately 2000 of the smallest securities based on a
combination of their market cap and current index membership.
Russell Investments determines membership for its equity indexes
primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style
attributes. Approximately $3.9 trillion in assets are currently
benchmarked to the Russell Indexes globally.
