today a multi-year partnership with G-Form LLC, a recognized leader in
the design and development of impact protection for elite athletes and
consumer products. This exclusive partnership will utilize patented
technologies developed by both companies to launch FLEXORB, an
innovative new material to be used in numerous protective products
across the Bauer Performance Sports platform.

FLEXORB will debut in Bauer Hockey's latest line of protective base
layer and the company's newest elite helmet, the BAUER RE-AKT 100, both
of which were unveiled this week at the company's annual BauerWorld
event. BauerWorld is a multi-sport week-long product and apparel
showcase with more than 600 of the world's leading retailers.
The new line of base layer features FLEXORB material strategically
placed in vulnerable areas such as the clavicle or lower rib area for
added protection. In creating FLEXORB, the new base layer provides
athletes with exceptional protection, flexibility and durability due to
both G-Form and Bauer's patented and proprietary hinging methods,
composite structures as well as materials and design elements that
allow for unrestrained movements.
In the RE-AKT 100, FLEXORB will be utilized in the SUSPEND-TECH 2 liner
system, a free-floating suspension liner that moves independently from
the inner foam to help reduce excessive movement at impact and manage
rotational impacts. The new BAUER base layer and RE-AKT 100 helmet
will be available at retail locations throughout the world this spring.
G-Form has developed leading athletic protective products utilizing its
Reactive Protection Technology™(RPT™), a soft padded material that
stiffens upon impact and absorbs more than 90 percent of the energy
transfer. RPT™ is a blend of PORON® XRD, which is currently used in
elite BAUER helmets and other protective products, and other
proprietary G-Form materials and composites.
