Good Times Announces Hiring of Bill McClintock as Vice President of Franchise Development for Bad Daddy's Burger Bar

GTIM

Good Times Restaurants Inc. (NASDAQ: GTIM), a regional restaurant company focused on developing Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard restaurants and Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar restaurants, today announced it has hired Bill McClintock as Vice President of Franchise Development for Bad Daddy’s Franchise Development LLC (“BDFD”). BDFD is jointly owned by Bad Daddy’s International and Good Times Restaurants Inc. and was created to expand the brand across the United States, targeting multi-unit developers who are experienced in the restaurant business. Good Times Restaurants Inc. manages BDFD through a management agreement.

McClintock has spent 27 years in franchise sales and development, including 10 years as Vice President of Franchise Sales and Real Estate at Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc., where he took the brand from 50 restaurants to more than 500 and participated as the average sales increased to over $2.5 million. McClintock also served as Vice President of Franchising for McAlister’s Deli and most recently was Senior Vice President of Development for Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. (DRH), which operates Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern and is the largest franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Commenting on the hiring of McClintock, President & CEO Boyd Hoback said, “After an extensive search for a high capacity executive, we are thrilled to have Bill on board to lead our franchising efforts as we ramp up our development of Bad Daddy’s. Not only does he bring a wealth of knowledge, a deep reservoir of contacts and is highly skilled at site selection, he is a great fit with our values and vision for developing the Bad Daddy’s brand on a super-regional and even national scale.”

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is a full service, upscale, “small box” restaurant featuring a chef driven menu of gourmet burgers, chopped salads, appetizers and sandwiches with a full bar and a focus on a selection of craft microbrew beers in a high energy atmosphere. There are four restaurants open in North Carolina and a fifth in the Charlotte airport operated by HMS Host. There are three additional restaurants expected to open by the December 2013.

Good Times is a regional chain of quick service restaurants located primarily in Colorado providing a menu of high quality all natural hamburgers, 100% all natural tenderloin chicken sandwiches, fresh frozen custard, fresh cut fries, fresh lemonades and other unique offerings. Good Times currently operates and franchises 38 restaurants.
