Times Three Wireless Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TTW) ("Times Three" or the "Company") announced today that it has filed six new US patent applications related to its wireless location tracking and wireless data communication technologies.
Times Three's new patent applications cover communications protocols and devices, including the Company's new hybrid beacon designs, that provide location tracking assisted by GPS technology for applications in automotive monitoring, remote utility meter reading, intelligent traffic signs, road condition telemetry, vending machine reporting, road construction equipment reporting and smart grids. These important technologies are expected to become pervasively adopted in the future, involving significant numbers of wireless devices.
