TORONTO, Oct. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Joined by Canadian Olympians,
Paralympians, Canadian Olympic Committee officials and special guests,
RBC will announce the names of 47 world-class Canadian athletes who
will be part of the RBC Olympians Program from 2013 through 2015.
Continuing its legacy of supporting Canadian amateur athletes, a major
component of RBC's Olympic Program is to recruit and hire both current
and retired Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Working within RBC offices
across the country, and acting as brand ambassadors to bring the
Olympic messages of excellence, teamwork, leadership, and commitment to
Canadian communities, athletes are provided the opportunity to gain
real-world experience and develop the business skills for a career
after sport.
