Uncertainties over rising interest rates and loan growth have seen analysts lower earnings estimates for Citigroup Inc., Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley over the past month.

BB&T Corporation (NYSE: BBT) shares traded in the range of $33.68 to $34.36 Wednesday before settling to close at $34.22, an increase of 2.06 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $34.50 and $34.94 levels with some support at $33.78. Shares of BB&T have gained approximately 17.0 percent in 2013.
