SumTotal®
Systems, LLC, the largest independent provider of integrated HR
solutions, today announced that the company and customer USA Funds
earned a Gold Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award for “Best in Extended
Enterprise Learning Program.”
USA
Funds is a non-profit organization that, among other services,
provides financial-literacy curriculum to college students and financial
aid administrators. The organization uses SumTotal
Learn: Maestro solution to deliver its Web-based financial education
program, USA Funds Life Skills, to thousands of college students across
the U.S. Since implementing SumTotal’s software-as-a-service (SaaS)
learning solution in 2011, USA Funds has seen a more than 500% growth in
course completions and a two-year decline in per-user and per-course
unit costs to deliver the curriculum of 62% and 67%, respectively. View

“Our curriculum equips institutions to teach their students to manage
their time and money wisely while on campus and after graduation,” said
Denise B. Feser, USA Funds senior vice president, school and student
services.
The Brandon
Hall Group Excellence Awards recognize organizations that have
successfully developed and deployed programs, strategies, processes,
systems and tools that have achieved measurable results. The entries
were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry
experts and Brandon Hall Group senior analysts and executive leadership.
“We are extremely proud to honor our 2013 award-winning organizations
for their remarkable achievements,” said Mike Cooke, chief executive
officer of Brandon Hall Group Inc. “This elite group of organizations
excelled in developing measurable, sustainable programs that produced
outstanding business results."
SumTotal Chief Marketing Officer Holly Rollo said USA Funds exemplifies
the creative ways customers are using SumTotal’s solutions to achieve
organizational success.
“We built our Talent Expansion™ Applications with the idea that if you
put people back into the center of technology, customers can drive
business results by improving their employees’ talent,” Rollo said. “Our
partners at USA Funds are demonstrating that the same principles apply
to providing learning and development to external audiences, and we
congratulate them on their success.”
Last week at the HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas, SumTotal was
recognized by Human Resource Executive magazine editors with a Top
