Premium network EPIX gets special with the effects when it presents “All Hallows’ Evil” Halloween marathon, October 30-31. The evening features nine demonic-plagued films, including the World Premiere of the EPIX Original Documentary “Nightmare Factory” at 8pm on October 30. To support the premiere, EPIX is hosting the “Nightmare Factory Halloween Contest” from October 24th-31st. Fans can enter for a chance to win a custom ghoul or vampire bust created by KNB. To participate, fans must submit a photo of their best Halloween look (make-up and / or costume) to EPIX via Twitter or Facebook. Entries should include a short description of their “look.” For full contest details go to www.twitter.com/epixhd or www.facebook.com/epix.

Nightmare Factory, directed by Donna Davies (Zombiemania) and featuring interviews by Greg Nicotero (Walking Dead, The Hills Have Eyes), Howard Berger (The Chronicles of Narnia) and Robert Kurtzman (Walking Dead), is the story of how one Pittsburgh boy’s fascination with monsters drove him to the very top of the Hollywood food chain.

Also appearing in Nightmare Factory are George A. Romero, John Carpenter, John Landis, Tom Savini, Frank Darabont, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez and “The Walking Dead’s” Norman Reedus and Laurie Holden.

The “All Hallows’ Evil” marathon and the evening of horror and ghoulish makeup effects include the films Evil Dead II (featuring effects from KNB); Paranormal Activity 3, Pumpkinhead, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia, The Bay, The Devil Inside and Cheerleader Massacre.
