WASHINGTON, Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AUSA -- Sikorsky Aerospace Services today announced the introduction of configuration-specific phase maintenance kits for Sikorsky Aircraft's legacy UH-60A and UH-60L BLACK HAWK helicopters, as well as the UH-60M model and newest international variant, the S-70i™ BLACK HAWK aircraft. The announcement was made during the Annual Meeting and Exposition of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). "We are continually looking at ways to enhance service to our operators. These kits are equipped with the latest configuration parts and accurate quantities to help streamline phase maintenance," said David Adler, President of Sikorsky Aerospace Services. "Based on feedback from our field service personnel and on-site maintainers, we have grouped required components to correspond to specific maintenance sequences. This helps technicians work more quickly and efficiently."
Custom tailored kits for 360 flight-hour Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) and 760 flight-hour PMI are available to BLACK HAWK operators worldwide. The kits contain all OEM-approved parts produced to the most recent specifications and backed by Sikorsky's stringent quality system and worldwide distribution network.
