WESTCHESTER, Ill., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), the leading live and live-online salvage auto auction company and wholly-owned subsidiary of KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR), today announced the opening of two new facilities in New Orleans, LA and Culpeper, VA, respectively. The openings mark the company's 32nd location in the South Central region, and the 49th location in the Southeast region, further demonstrating IAA's expansive footprint of more than 160 locations throughout North America.

"The addition of these new facilities enhances IAA's capacity in two critical and growing markets, including New Orleans and the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area," said Tom O'Brien, chief executive officer of Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. "IAA is committed to expanding its presence in areas across North America where there is a strong customer demand, which means we're offering more locations for providers to sell their vehicles and more cars for global buyers to bid on and win."

IAA's new live and live-online auction facility in Culpeper, VA is located at 15201 Review Road. The fully functioning facility gives IAA the additional capacity necessary to serve the greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan market.

The New Orleans East facility is located at 6600 Almonaster Blvd., providing IAA additional acreage to serve the growing region and offer additional capacity in this catastrophe-prone area.
