ACI
Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading international provider of electronic
payment systems, today announced its ranking on the FinTech 100, an
annual international listing of the top vertical technology vendors that
derive more than one third of their revenue from this industry as named
by American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial
Insights. ACI, which moved up four places, is now ranked 24th on the
list of financial technology companies that were judged according to
their global revenues.
This ranking comes on the heels of ACI being named by Forbes
as one of America’s Best Companies with sales of less than $1 billion
(ACI was ranked 47th). The company has seen considerable
global growth for its award-winning offerings, with increased demand
from financial institutions, processors and retailers looking for a
competitive edge to better serve their customers. Additionally, through
recent acquisitions, the company has bolstered its comprehensive product
portfolio and expanded its leadership position in electronic payments.
Moreover, ACI has strengthened its offerings across all key product
lines and, earlier this year, brought to market ACI Universal
Payments (UP). Already named a “Best-in-Class” solution in Payments
Capability by CEB TowerGroup, ACI Universal Payments is a set of
technologies and frameworks that orchestrates all aspects of payments
processing for any payment type, any channel, any currency, any network,
anywhere.
"The FinTech 100 ranking is the most comprehensive global ranking of
technology providers to the financial services industry, and being
ranked in the top 25 demonstrates leadership among this elite group of
vendors,” said Karen Massey, Senior Analyst, Banking, IDC Financial
Insights. “ACI has been ranked on the FinTech 100 for the full 10 years
of the program, with forward financial performance each year resulting
from strategic vision and innovation serving financial institutions."
“Moving into the FinTech top 25 is a great accomplishment and testament
to the incredible team at ACI,” said Jeremy Wilmot, Senior Vice
President and Managing Director of Americas, ACI Worldwide. “We have
worked tirelessly to provide customers with a value proposition
unmatched in the global payments industry—the most complete family of
solutions and services—and this ranking is further validation of that
work.”
