(NYSE: KAR), today announced that the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) has extended to IAA the 2013 Electronic Commerce Company of the Year Award in recognition for the company's outstanding leadership, contribution, and dedication to CIECA and to the Collision Repair Industry. In addition, CIECA has also selected Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Christopher Poulos as the 2013 recipient of the organization's Outstanding Dedication Award. This award is bestowed annually to the CIECA volunteer that exhibits exceptional commitment to the facilitation of Electronic Commerce within the collision repair industry throughout the year. The CIECA Board of Trustees presented this award to Mr. Poulos at the Collision Industry Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas on November 6. John Kett, the president of IAA was also in attendance to accept the company award on behalf of IAA.

The recipients of the 2013 Electronic Commerce Company of the Year Award and Collision Industry Awards were nominated by their peers, reviewed by a committee within CIECA and then selected by the CIECA Board of Trustees. The nominees were evaluated based on predetermined criteria including outstanding leadership, contribution, and dedication to CIECA and to the collision repair industry.
