Students will be able to use the center to develop next-generation digital marketing skills, including customizing marketing strategies, modeling purchasing patterns, and using tools to measure return-on-investment to maximize effectiveness of digital campaigns.

"This new Center will be a laboratory for innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity," said Daniel Moska Arreola, General Director of Tecnologico de Monterrey, Santa Fe Campus. "It will help students succeed in the constantly evolving world of digital marketing and is the latest chapter in the university's 50-year collaboration with IBM."

The center will use technology built on the IBM POWER 7 platform as well as an array of Smarter Commerce software used by thousands of companies around the world to improve the ins-store shopping experience across mobile, social and digital channels.

Other collaborations between IBM and Tecnologico de Monterrey include the System Z Experience Center in the State of Mexico Campus and Power Center in Santa Fe Campus, both programs to advance the latest programming skills, and the Smarter Traffic Center in the State of Mexico Campus, where students and IBMers explore how Big Data and analytics can solve the world's traffic congestion problems.
