BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 26, 2013) - Naturally Splendid Enterprises (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NSP) announces that during the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance (CHTA), members voted on and elected one of Naturally Splendid's Directors, Russ Crawford, to serve a two year term as a Director of the CHTA. At a board meeting immediately following the AGM, Russ was elected to serve as President of the Board. "The members of the CHTA have elected a very strong Board and I am honored to serve as President," said Crawford. "This is an extremely exciting time for the hemp industry both globally and in Canada. Production is setting new records every year and the potential return to farmers is unmatched by all other crop choices," added Crawford.
The CHTA is a national association of the Canadian hemp industry dedicated to creating an economically sustainable hemp industry benefitting all stakeholders in the value chain. The CHTA is comprised of farmers, processors, retailers, researchers and academics who have a shared vision of hemp production and commercial expansion based on consumer health and environmental stewardship.
