Amdocs Named Top Vendor for Telecom Software Testing Services by Two Analyst Firms

DOX

Amdocs' unique telecom expertise helps service providers cut testing time and costs; mitigate system defects, and improve systems quality

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems and services, today announced that two analyst firms have separately reported Amdocs as the leading services vendor in the global telecom testing market. TechNavio1 and NelsonHall2 estimate Amdocs' market share to be the highest in the industry at 15-17 percent and 13 percent respectively.

TechNavio's report lists vendor stability, cost-effectiveness, reliability and scope of offerings as the key criteria for service providers when choosing a software testing services vendor, and highlights Amdocs' industry-specific focus on the telecom sector as a key company strength. NelsonHall's research finds that despite tougher economic conditions, there is an increasing service provider demand for specialist testing services, as reflected in Amdocs' market-share leadership over non-telecom-specific vendors and offshore solutions.

"Amdocs' deep understanding of what service providers need to succeed allows us to lead industry innovation in testing technologies, methodologies and business process best practices, and is key to the success of our global testing practice," said Rebecca Prudhomme, vice president of product and solutions marketing at Amdocs. "By significantly reducing testing time and costs for our customers, we are helping them reduce time to market, deliver a high-quality customer experience, and maintain their competitive edge."
