Ascom (US) Inc., a leading supplier of mission critical, on-site
wireless communication solutions, is pleased to announce that it has
secured exclusive US distribution rights for a new suite of software
applications designed for the subacute healthcare market. Systems
Communication Protocol Connect, “SCPConnect”, enhances nurse call system
functionality by providing reporting, assignment, messaging and
connectivity to peripheral devices such as wireless handsets and digital
displays. Designed to work with Ascom’s Telligence C300 nurse call
product, SCPConnect was developed by Chubb Edwards as a cost-effective
workflow package for the Canadian market. The success of SCPConnect in
Canada led Ascom and Chubb Edwards to partner on distribution across the
rest of North America. "Ascom recognizes the importance of the subacute
care space and is utilizing the SCPConnect solution to better meet the
feature and pricing requirements for this fast growing market,” says
Chad West, President and CEO of Ascom (US) Inc. “We are pleased to
expand our close relationship with Ascom as a Strategic Sales Partner
and now as a supplier of SCPConnect,” says Jim Carr, Director, Major
Projects & Systems Integration at Chubb Edwards. SCPConnect is available
for immediate order with packages starting at an MSRP of $5,700.00. US
shipments began in October 2013.
