Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) shares closed up 4.04 percent on Wednesday on a little more than 58 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most actively traded stocks on the NASDAQ. According to a report released this week, hackers have stolen usernames and passwords for nearly two million accounts at Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo and others. Also UBS quant Trista Rose calls Facebook “a clear front runner as an upcoming inclusion candidate” onto the S&P 500.

Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. (NYSE: TC) shares closed down 9.69 percent on over 6.5 million shares traded on Wednesday. The stock was one of the largest percentage droppers on the NYSE. TD Securities reiterated its "reduce" rating and price target of C50 cents. Likewise, TheStreet Ratings team has maintained its "sell" rating on the stock, handing Thomson Creek a score of D.

OCZ Technology Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCZ) shares closed down 20.25% making it one of the biggest losers on the NASDAQ on Wednesday. The stock traded roughly 15.6 million shares. OCZ Technology Group announced this week that Toshiba will buy the company’s assets out of bankruptcy for $35 million, including both OCZ’s consumer business and its enterprise solid-state drive business.

Galena Biopharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: GALE) shares closed up 4.85 percent on Wednesday on about 7.2 million shares traded. The stock is up roughly 90% since the start of November. The Company announced that Mark J. Ahn, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer, will present a corporate update at the Oppenheimer 24th Annual Healthcare Conference. The presentation will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:55 a.m. ET at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York, NY.
