AU Optronics Corp. Reports November 2013 Consolidated Revenue

HSINCHU, Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AU Optronics Corp. ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$35,412 million for November 2013, up by 4.4% month-over-month and 4.5% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels(a) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications totaled 10.50 million units in November 2013, up by 12.7% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments decreased by 6.3% month-over-month to around 13.74 million units.

Large size refers to panels that are 10 inches and above in diagonal measurement while small and medium size refers to those below 10 inches.
