Cold weather in recent months has seen natural gas prices rise to two-and-a-half-year highs. Natural-gas future rose 1.7 percent to $4.409 per million British thermal units last Thursday, the highest seen since July 2011. Prices for the commodity have spiked over 26.0 percent since the beginning of November. "There's a lot of people that are getting bullish at these levels," said Jason Williams, a commodity broker for Coquest. "People are worried about supply." Williams believes natural gas prices could rise by another 10 percent before the end of 2013.
